Keynote at BCCA 2025

Dr. Attila Kertész was invited as keynote speaker to the 7th International Conference on Blockchain Computing and Applications (BCCA 2025).

His speech, titled “Simulation Approaches of the Cloud-to-Thing Continuum” introduced the Cloud-to-Thing Continuum, integrating IoT, cloud, fog, and blockchain technologies to manage vast, data-driven systems.

IoLT Certificate of Recognition

On February 6 the Department of Software Engineering received a certificate of recognition from the National Research, Development, and Innovation Office (NDRI). The Department’s research into the Internet of Living Things (IoLT) received recognition as an emerging research infrastructure in Hungary in terms of its scientific performance and international collaboration

SO-SMART project kickoff

The Okinawa Institute of Science and Technology (OIST) held an Ideathon within the frame of a joint research project between Japanese and European universities to create sustainable and accessible public transportation.
