Dr. Attila Kertész held a lecture titled „Emerging technologies: we use them, but do we know how they work?” as part of the University of Szeged’s open lectures program on October 15.
The lecture presented the latest developments in information and communication technologies, focusing on how cloud, fog, IoT, and blockchain systems together enable the creation of complex, intelligent networks such as smart cities.
Dr. Kertész highlighted the challenges of managing these systems, emphasizing data protection and the growing role of artificial intelligence.
The event was supported by the project Complex Digital Model Change - Smart Grade Change (RRF-2.1.2-21-2022-00012), implemented under Hungary’s Recovery and Resilience Plan.
