Keynote at BCCA 2025

Dr. Attila Kertész was invited as keynote speaker to the 7th International Conference on Blockchain Computing and Applications (BCCA 2025).

His speech, titled “Simulation Approaches of the Cloud-to-Thing Continuum” introduced the Cloud-to-Thing Continuum, integrating IoT, cloud, fog, and blockchain technologies to manage vast, data-driven systems.

He highlighted the DISSECT-CF-Fog and FoBSim simulators, which model and analyze complex IoT–Fog–Blockchain infrastructures, supporting research into data processing, mobility, and accountability. The talk also covered recent developments inspired by the EU-funded Swarmchestrate project.
