Talk held at ICFEC 2024

Dr. András Márkus held a talk titled “Synergizing Fuzzy-based Task Offloading with Machine Learning-driven Forecasting for IoT” at the 8th IEEE International Conference on Fog and Edge Computing (ICFEC 2024), held between May 6-9, in Philadelphia, USA.

The talk was based on the paper accepted for the conference, authored by Dr. András Márkus, Valentin Dániel Hegedűs, Dr. József Dániel Dombi and Dr. Attila Kertész.

ICFEC 2024 contained research contributions that addressed the latest research challenges in systems, software, and applications within Fog and Edge Computing. It received 43 submissions from authors across 24 different countries, showcasing the global interest and advancements in this field. Out of the 43 submissions, ten full papers were accepted for publication (with an acceptance rate of 23.25%), each representing significant innovations and directions in Edge Computing research.
