The students were evaluated by Dr. Márk Jelasity (Professor, Head of Department), Dr. László Nyúl (Associate Professor, Head of Department), and Dr. Árpád Beszédes (Associate Professor).

Dr. Árpád Beszédes has recently been chosen to become an associate editor for the IEEE journal Transactions on Software Engineering.

During the summer the Department of Software Engineering moved its main offices from the Rector’s Office building to Árpád square 2.
We are still amidst some renovations and getting used to the new space, but work is proceeding as usual.

The Department of Software Engineering at the University of Szeged has officially been granted the right to hold the 2nd Workshop on Advances in Human-Centric Experiments in Software Engineering (HUMAN 2024) as part of the SANER conference in 2024.

Dr. Attila Kertész, associate professor at the Department of Software Engineering, has been selected as a 2022 Outstanding Reviewer for the FGCS Journal. He is one of the 39 on the list who made it to the final selection.
