On February 6 the Department of Software Engineering received a certificate of recognition from the National Research, Development, and Innovation Office (NDRI). The Department’s research into the Internet of Living Things (IoLT) received recognition as an emerging research infrastructure in Hungary in terms of its scientific performance and international collaboration.

The Department of Software Engineering together with the MOON42 RDI Information Technology Services Ltd. are collaborating on a new project that aims to create a CO2 absorption calculation system and related services based solely on image recognition to boost voluntary carbon credit trading and environmentally conscious precision agriculture. The project started on January 1st.

Dr. Attila Kertész took part in the event on behalf of our university as the European PI.
