A new ISTQB Certified Tester AI Testing (CT-AI) curriculum is currently under development and accreditation.
The Department of Software Engineering will soon add a new ISTQB training into its repertoire. Once accreditation is done, the Department will welcome those interested in earning the certificate!
The goal of the ISTQB® AI Testing (CT-AI) certification is to extend understanding of Artificial Intelligence (including Machine Learning), most specifically testing AI-based systems and using AI in testing.
The target audience of the training is anyone involved in testing AI-based systems and/or AI for testing. This includes people in roles such as testers, test analysts, data analysts, test engineers, test consultants, test managers, user acceptance testers, and software developers. This certification is also appropriate for anyone who wants a basic understanding of how AI works, how its testing differs from the testing of conventional systems, and how it can support test-related tasks, such the work of project managers, quality managers, or business analysts.
