The Institute of Informatics at our University has joined the Artificial Intelligence National Laboratory (MILAB).
MILAB is a coordinated national artificial intelligence umbrella organization created to facilitate the collaboration between major research centers, universities, and large-scale national programs with the goal of strengthening Hungary's position in AI.
The University of Szeged (RGAI and the Department of Software Engineering within it) joined as the only provincial University to take part in MILAB’s work. Our researchers and associate professors joined numerous work areas, such as developing language technology with the help of AI, increasing the security and privacy of neural network models, developing IoT solutions for intelligent manufacturing based on machine learning, and telemedicinal applications among others.
