Sept 22, 2026

Dr. Renáta Hodován and Dr. Ákos Kiss presented their paper, “FuzzMeter: An Experimental Platform for Systematic Fuzzer Benchmarking” at the 42nd International Conference on Software Maintenance and Evolution (ICSME 2026).

Their paper, which concerns their benchmarking tool, FuzzMeter, won a Distinguished Paper Award!

FuzzMeter is a local, container-based platform for systematic and reproducible fuzzer benchmarking that goes beyond traditional coverage metrics by supporting corpus and bug analysis, resource monitoring, and custom measurements. It also enables reanalysis of existing fuzzing campaigns and provides plugins, live monitoring, and exportable reports to make experimental results easier to compare, reproduce, and publish.

If FuzzMeter caught your interest, here’s a video demonstrating its capabilities!
