Students of the Institute of Informatics held their lectures for the Scientific Students' Associations on the 26th of November.
The students were evaluated by Dr. Márk Jelasity (Professor, Head of Department), Dr. Péter Hegedűs (Senior lecturer), Ádám Kiss (Assistant lecturer), and an external member, Tamás T. Szabó, Executive Director at Morgan Stanley.
The lectures were BSc-level research presentations spanning applied machine learning, medical informatics, and signal processing. Topics included vulnerability detection in source code, motor activity-based sleep detection, parking parameter prediction with a small neural network, the evaluation of sleep-wakefulness and different movement intensity phases, and the early prediction of rehabilitation progress in diabetic patients.
Lóránt Attila Értekes (sent and prepared by the Department of Software Engineering) won 1st place with his work!
