Lectures on Data Privacy

Dr. Zoltán Alexin held numerous lectures on the importance of data privacy this year.

He attended Hétpecsét Association’s DPO Club on May 21 2025, where he held a lecture titled “Different legal bases of medical data processing and their consequences on privacy”.

On May 22 2025, he held a lecture at the annual conference European values in the latest technologies, organized by the Constitutional Court of Hungary, the National Authority for Data Protection and Freedom of Information, and Ludovika University of Public Service, which discussed the impact of technological developments on individuals, society, the state, and the law.

Dr. Alexin’s lecture was titled “Can we talk about informational self-determination in healthcare at all?” and its topic was how “the digital transition of the healthcare system poses a significant threat to citizens' privacy. Children born today will have to live their entire lives with their complete, digitized medical history available at the touch of a button on government computers from birth to death. There are no constitutional restrictions on how much data is accumulated and for which purposes the state processes the data.”
