Dr. Tibor Gyimóthy was rewarded with the Officer's Cross of the Hungarian Order of Merit in recognition of his achievements in the field of IT.
Dr. Tibor Gyimóthy, a Szent-Györgyi Albert Prize-winning computer scientist, corresponding member of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences, and professor at the University of Szeged Faculty of Science and Informatics, Institute of Informatics, Department of Software Engineering, was rewarded with the civilian division’s Officer's Cross of the Hungarian Order of Merit for his outstanding contribution to Hungarian IT research and for the practical applications of its results which are recognized at the international level.
