Two articles of the Hungarian Scientific Association for Transportation, examining the effect of the coronavirus on public transportation were published, using the results of the Inclouded research group (Department of Software Engineering).

During the SASMOB project, Dr. Bilicki’s team has installed cameras and sensors on bridges and buses across the city of Szeged to monitor traffic. Now the results are used in examining how public transportation has changed since the start of COVID-19. Recently, two articles were written on the topic by the Scientific Association for Transportation in its 2020 online special.

One of the articles deals with the decreased use of public transportation since the virus has started affecting our lives, while the other article focuses on the concurrent increase in active and micromobility (bikes, scooters, roller skates, walking, etc.).
