ISTQB CTFL training

The Department of Software Engineering is an accredited ISTQB training provider.

We hold ISTQB Foundation Level Certified Tester trainings for IT professionals. Our training courses are offered in either English or Hungarian. We usually use our own premises as the place of the training courses, but we are ready to organise the trainings at the premises of any interested company with a reasonable number of attendees.

The goal of the training is to learn basic software testing competences and to prepare for the International Software Testing Qualifications Board (ISTQB) Certified Tester Foundation Level (ISTQB CTFL) examination. Software testing is a very important part of the SDLC, and is mainly responsible for software quality. As the tasks related to testing can consume half of the project resources, it is very important to have effective and efficient testing within the project. The goal of the training is to support this, by introducing basic terms, concepts and processes, showing proven basic testing techniques and management view.

The target audience of the training are those who perform or contribute to the quality assurance and/or testing activities of software development companies (either at practical or management level). However, knowing the basic processes and the attributes of the different techniques can be useful to the project management and the developers as well.
