Researching software developers’ ways of thinking

Researchers at the Development of Software Engineering are trying to better understand the way of thinking of experienced (3+ years) software developers, by conducting so called “Think Aloud Sessions” that will help them map the areas where the developers could benefit from additional features or toolsets added to the integrated development environments (IDEs) they work in.

Finished project "e-Modelling Framework for Control Systems"

Our department has successfully finished the 3-years project called "A novel integrated industrial e-Modelling Framework for Control Systems and its application on experimental large physical equipment" (GINOP-2.2.1-15-2016-00012), carried out in consortia with evopro NPA Ltd., Szeged Biological Research Centre, and Institute for Nuclear Research.

JerryScript 2.4.0 Release

The latest stable version of JerryScript, version 2.4.0 has been released on Github today!

The team at the Department of Software Engineering is an active participant of the development of JerryScript. Several members of the team act as maintainers or committers in the project, and they are proud to have their contributions in the latest stable release of JerryScript, version 2.4.0.
